CSA Preface 

This is the first edition of CSA ISO 10013, Quality management systems - Guidance for documented information, which is an adoption without modification of the identically titled ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Standard 10013 (first edition, 2021-03). It replaces CSA ISO/TR 10013:01 (adopted ISO/TR 10013:2001), Guidelines for quality management system documentation. For brevity, this Standard will be referred to as "CSA ISO 10013" throughout. This Standard has been developed in compliance with Standards Council of Canada requirements for National Standards of Canada. It has been published as a National Standard of Canada by CSA Group. 

Scope 

This document gives guidance for the development and maintenance of the documented information necessary to support an effective quality management system, tailored to the specific needs of the organization. This document can also be used to support other management systems, e.g. environmental or occupational health and safety management systems.
